*Occupational Therapists and Assistants licensed in the state of Alaska refer to 12 AAC 54.700-725 for current continuing education requirements.

*Continuing education must be directly related to patient care.

The following activities will NOT be accepted for continuing education hours:

• Routine staff meetings
• Rounds
• Routine courses required for employment [CPR, first aid, OSHA training, etc.]
• Courses related to the treatment of animals such as canine and equine rehabilitation
• Courses related to documentation, coding, or billing
• Courses related to marketing or practice/business growth
