CE Course Approval Requests
Course providers who request AKOTA approval for occupational therapy continuing education (CE) credits must submit this application. A flat fee is charged for non-member out of state course applications. Non-member in-state course applications are eligible for a discount code (contact president@akota.org for more information). AKOTA members DO NOT pay an application fee.
AKOTA strongly recommends that all practitioners review the most current state of Alaska Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Board Statutes and Regulations before taking continuing education courses for professional competency requirements. Courses approved by AOTA and NBCOT do not require AKOTA approval.

AKOTA strictly follows the State of Alaska Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy Board Statutes and Regulations.
- The program must contribute directly to an OT practitioner’s professional competency
